Our Founder
Shri N.S. Vijey Devraj
Shri N.S. Vijey Devraj's journey from a humble working-class background to a beacon of hope for the underprivileged is truly inspiring. Born into a family of eight, with his father working as a carpenter, life was a daily struggle. Reflecting on those times, he said, “Every day life was a struggle.” These hardships instilled in him deep empathy and a resolve to serve others.
In 2001, with the blessings of Shri Veerendra Hegde, he founded the Karnataka Pradesh Badavara Shakthi Samithi, starting with nine members and growing into a movement impacting thousands. To reflect its expanded vision.
As a young man, Shri Vijey Devraj devoted himself to helping others, a passion that grew during his career as a welder at HAL (Ancillary) in Bangalore. Known affectionately as “Devanna,” he stood by his colleagues as a fearless Union Leader. Though initially uninterested in politics, he briefly served as a councilor for KR Puram Municipal Council but left due to bureaucratic inefficiencies.
the organization was rebranded as the Vijaya Vikas Bharath Foundation in 2023. The foundation now focuses on education, healthcare, employment, and disaster relief, upholding the values of service and empowerment. As Founder President, Shri Vijey Devraj continues to inspire others to work toward a better, more equitable future.
